The village of Kamisiana is a quite place, it is only about 1 km inland from the sea and the beautiful beach. Here you can enjoy the life of a traditional Cretan village with a typical kafenion, which also sells basic provisions. Access is very easy via the new motorway, the exit of Tavronitis is only about 2 kilometres away. You can also find traditional tavernas and restaurants, cafe and a super market, next bigger villages are Tavronitis and Kolymbari with all amenities.
